Returned from absence in July 1864.
Received gunshot wound, fracturing his thigh near Florence, AL (and/or near
Mussel Shoals) during skirmish on north side of Tennessee River on September
7, 1864.
Recovered in private home.
Paroled at Meridian, MS on May 10, 1865.
