Mustered into Company E at Houston, TX on September 12, 1861.
Elected 4th Corporal.
Reduced in rank to private by November 1861, and possibly as early as September 1861.
Suffered wrist wound at Chickamauga, TN in September 1863.
Suffered accidental gunshot wound to foot on November 20, 1863.
Absent in February 1864 due to wounds.
Discharged due to food wounds.

Moved to CA about 1868.
Married Mattie C. Floyd [unknown if maiden name or if she remarried].
Operated a lodging house.
Died June 22, 1910.
Buried at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, CA.
