Born in TX around 1840.
Resided in Fort Bend County, TX.

Mustered in with Company H on September 7, 1861 in Houston, TX.
Elected 2nd Lieutenant.
Given command of Company H for an expedition on December 9.
Was serving as a scout by July, 1862.
Promoted to 1st Lieutenant in May 1863.
Claiborne records that he was promoted to Wharton's staff.
Commanded Company by July or December 1863.
Member of the Terry Masonic Lodge.
Killed near Talbot's Station, TN (Near Moss Creek) in January 1864.
