May 20, 1841 - April 6, 1864

Born on May 20, 1841 at Lexington, KY.
Resided at Guadalupe County, TX.
Possibly resided at Manchaca, Hays County, TX in 1860; occupied as a clerk.

Mustered in with Company I at Houston, TX on September 11, 1861 or at New Orleans, LA on October 14, 1861 by Capt. Jones.
May have been 5th Sergeant.
Present in December 1861.
Killed during the Sunday afternoon encounter with the enemy near the boggy ravine at Shiloh, TN on April 6, 1862.
