Born in AL around 1830.
Resided in Webberville, Travis County, TX in 1860.
Mustered into Company D at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Elected 2nd Lieutenant.
Resigned in January 1862 due to need to support his family.
Rejoined regiment before the battle of Shiloh in April 1862.
Apparently served later in 21st Texas Cavalry, Carter's Brigade in 1862.
Died December 28, 1862 at AR due to pneumonia.
