Born in Herkimer County, NY on April 18, 1833.
Moved to TX in Spring 1852.
Possibly resided at Fayette County, TX (Jones Roster).

Mustered into Company F at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Acted as company bugler.
Suffered chest and shoulder wound near Triune, TN on December 27, 1862.
Present in February 1864.

Married Mary E. Corder of Shelby County, TX on December 15, 1867.
Joined Live Oak Baptist Church in summer 1886.
Joined Baptist church at Cheatham in 1904.
Died October 7, 1905.
