Joseph Greaves Booth

Born at Royton, England around 1840.
Parents imigrated to Rhode Island in 1852.
He emigrated to Texas around 1858.
Resided at San Antonio, Bexar County, TX; occupied as a clerk (Jones Roster).
Described as 5'7" with brown hair, light complexion, and blue eyes.

Mustered into Company G at Houston, TX on September 16, 1861.
Discharged in May 1862 due to unknown disability; possibly with the rank of Sergeant.
May have later served (Jones Roster).

Resided in Austin, TX.
Attended the 29th Reunion in 1898.
Served in the TTR Reunion Association as Corrsponding Secretary.
Attended the 1902 Ranger Reunion.

In 1910 he served as a witness for T. F. Crain's Widow's Pension Application in 1910.
