Born in MS around 1833.
Possibly resided in Harris County, TX.

Mustered into Company D at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Appointed as 2nd Sergeant on December, 14, 1861.
In command of company in February 1862.
CSR's show him reduced in rank to Private by August 1862.
Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant in December 1862.
Member of Terry Lodge, Regimental, Masonic Chapter.
Received slight wounds to right arm at Sewanne, TN on July 4, 1863.
Absent recovering from wounds for several months.
Regained command.
Received severe thigh wound at Knoxville, TN in November 15, 1863.
Returned to duty by February 1864.

Died by 1882.
