Born November 18, 1837 at TN.
Resided at Bastrop County, TX.

Mustered into Company D at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Absent tending horses at Gallatin, TN by November 1861.
Placed on detached service in Feburary 1862.
Rejoined command by December 1862.
Suffered gunshot wound to arm and side near Nolansville, TN on December 25, 1862.
Killed in a charge near Atlanta, GA in August 1864 or on July 19, 1864.
