Mustered into Company K at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Absent by November 1861 due to illness.
Discharged in 1862 due to illness.
Enlisted in Company D of the 1st Arkansas Cavalry on May 22,
1862 at Washington, AR
C captured at Mound City, KS on October 24, 1864
S ent to Alton and Rock Island, IL, then paroled at Camp Lee, VA on March
28, 1865.
Moved to Dallas County, TX in 1899.
Received Confederate Pension on March 28th, 1900. No. 6903.
Moved to Winnesboro, Wood County, TX.
Admitted to Texas Confederate Veterans Home on July 31, 1918.
Died October 30, 1920 in Austin, Travis County, TX
Buried in the Texas State Cemetery on October 31, 1920.
