Mustered into Company H at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Elected 3rd Corporal.
Recieved a gunshot to the leg during the Sunday afternoon encounter with the
enemy near the boggy ravine at Shiloh, TN on April 6, 1862.
Wound required amputation of the leg.
Dropped from the roll on June 10, 1862.
Hospitalized by July 1862 to at least August 1862.
Published as a deserter on May 30, 1863, apparently in error according to
Andy Jones Roster.
