Listed on July-August 1862 Muster Roll as present and paid to July 1, 1862 by B. A. Botts .
Listed on Muster Roll dated May 14, 1863 as on detached duty with Division Quartermaster and last paid to January 1, 1863 by Capt. Steele.
Detached to Brigadier General Wharton's staff in Quartermaster Department in November 1862.
Listed on July 1-December 31, 1863 Muster Roll as promoted to 3rd Lieutenant of Captain B. F. White's Battery; Jones Roster indicates promotion occurred in December 1863.
Discharged from White's Battery as 1st Lieutenant.
Served in Ordnance Department.
