Mustered into Company E at New Orleans, LA on March 7, 1862 by Maj. Theobold.
Wounded bearing dispatches to General Bragg from General Wheeler at Fort Donnelson in February 1863. (Claiborne)
Listed as present in April 1863.

Filed pension # 2817 on October 5, 1899 in McLennan, TX.
Died April 6, 1916.
Buried in the Texas State Cemetery.
