From Falls County, Texas Where he worked as a stockraiser.
Described as 6' with light hair, light complexion and blue eyes.

Enlisted with Company C in Houston on September 12, 1861.
Discharged December 1861 for fever, diarreah.

may have transferred to Co. A shortly after enlistment (c)
discharged at Woodbury or Bowling Green, Ky. (c) 12/61 due to illness contracted during trip through La. or before co. left Houston, Tex.
